Ruin Bars
Ruin Bars zijn echt uniek voor Hongarije. Een briljant idee om afgedankte gebouwen (ruïnes) om te toveren tot bars.
Je weet niet wat je ziet als je er eentje binnen loopt. De bars hebben een kleurrijke, creatieve en knotsgekke inrichting. Een fantastisch bij elkaar geraapt ‘zooitje’.
De moeder van alle Ruin Bars is 'Szimpla Kert' (vertaald: Simpele Tuin) in Boedapest. In "The Lonely Planet' staat deze bar in de top 50 van beste bars van de wereld.
RUIN BARS
Ruin bars are all the rage in Budapest and have been around since the founding of 'Szimpla Kert', the mecca of all ruin bars. These bars are built in Budapest's old District VII neighbourhood (the old Jewish quarter) in the ruins of abandoned buildings, stores or lots.
